The Ior Leak High Tester 3355 displays the connection method for each measuring line by pressing the wiring diagram key for easy measuring.

It can also display basic wave leakage current (Io), effective leakage current (Ior), ground insulation resistance (R), voltage, and frequency.In addition, it can display filter values (Ifilt), effective values (Irms) and phase angles.

 

 

 

 

Analyzes leakage current components
Case 1 (with less capacity C)
Io and Ior are the same.
Case 2 (with more capacity C).
Io>> Ior and Io will not be able to manage proper insulation.
3355 measures the phase difference of voltage and current, separates the Ioc by calculating from Io, and asking for Ior.It also displays the voltage and Ior ground insulation resistance values.
Io: leakage current
Ior: Current leakage due to insulation resistance deterioration of Io.
Ioc: Current leakage due to ground capacitance of IO.

 

 

About Insulation Resistance and Ground Insulation Resistance
*Ground insulation resistance value is not correlated to the dielectric resistance value measured by the insulating resistance meter.

Insulation resistance value

Mark the DC voltage (DC) to the measurement and ask for a DC insulation resistance value (DC MΩ) from the current value detected as the leakage current and the prescription voltage value.

Ground insulation resistance value

Detects the leaking current and basic wave voltage of the basic wave (50/60Hz) components from the surrounded line in live wire state, and seek the effective leakage current Ior (leakage current component due to insulation degradation), and seeks to the ground insulation resistance value (AC MΩ) from the basic wave voltage and effective leakage current value.
